Owned and operated by Nicole Rogers NLR Design commenced officially in 2009 working primarily on residential projects of a heritage nature albeit single or multi dwelling applications in and around Melbourne’s inner suburbs. NLR Design prides itself on its personalised service applying 23+ years of skill & knowledge, paired with an intuitive approach to achieving a design resolved to individual clients / project brief.

Projects are designed from the outside-in, taking a complete bespoke approach meeting modern day to day living needs.

I completed Building Design studies in 1996 and have worked within the industry to gain a myriad of skills in both residential and commercial projects. I pride myself on my ability to connect with each client on a personal level, understanding their core needs in remodelling spaces and how this best functions within a person’s way of life.

I understand the complexities surrounding a property of a heritage nature and the challenges it can provoke. This experience provides a much easier approach to new residential dwelling applications applying the same core design considerations without restrictive limitations.

The creation of harmonious spaces with the use of sensibly placed habitable rooms is given a high priority in the overall design process. Environmental and seasonal considerations will ensure the best use and integration of the natural elements surrounding the site to enhance day to day living.

When the environment’s natural energy is applied to a habitable space correctly the impact is measurable, promoting a healthier way of living, in our internal spaces.
